This week has been as "normal" as we're gonna get right now.
- I had my follow up with the cancer surgeon. He said everything looked good and released me. He is one of those doctors that truly cares and it shows in his hugs and a mention to make sure I go to church 'cause prayers do work.
- Alex had an eye doctor appointment on Wednesday. He is getting some much needed new glasses. His current lenses are very scratched up and his frames barely fit. His eyes are a little better.
- The bills are starting to roll in from the first appointments and surgery. It is a bit overwhelming. That said, it isn't a worry though. Jim & I know that it will work out.
- We are all doing ok. All of our spirits are good. I am currently looking for some children's books about breast cancer that are age appropriate and not scary. I am slowly finding some. If you run across any, please let me know where so I can look at them.
We want to say thank-you. The food, gift cards, cards, hugs, notes, help and prayers are all appreciated and make it easier to keep going. Happy Valentines Day!
