I thought my surgeries had taken a lot out of me but chemo was worse.
- Actually the chemo + my blood sugar going up and down like crazy pretty much did me in. I didn't want to do anything except sleep when my sugar was up and then I couldn't sleep at night. I wasn't comfortable being up or lying down, I couldn't relax and was just miserable.
- Hopefully, we can control the blood sugar a little better next time. I had to call in to the doctors on call a couple of times to figure out what to do for high blood sugars and constipation. They are going to adjust some of the anti-nausea meds that have steroids in them and possibly have me take extra doses of my diabetes medicine to prevent some of this. That would be nice.
- Alex was pretty good. He was a little unsure but he helped my tummy feel better with kisses and helped Daddy cover me up when I was cold and had lots of hugs and kisses for me.
- Jim was phenomenal. He kept Alex calm and got us through our weekend. I even think Alex enjoyed staying home for once and having lots of play time with Daddy.
- My next chemo is March 13th. Please keep us in your prayers that this time was the worst.
We used gift cards to eat and shop with this weekend. Thanks for your generosity. We have had several car repairs lately and your help is appreciated. Your hugs, words, prayers, and support continue to mean so much.
