Yes, the Cedar river is well over flood stage in Cedar Rapids. No, our house is not in danger.

There are, however, many people who are being evacuated from their homes in anticipation of record flood levels (in truth, it has already broken the previous record, and is not expected to crest until Friday). Please keep these people in your prayers.

The best web site I have found regarding the river level is the Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service of the NOAA.
