Suffice it to say, it is very cold here. How cold is it? The Cedar Rapids Gazette says:

We are bundled up nicely against the cold and wind. Alex enjoys going outside to "help" me shovel snow (although he also enjoys shoveling the yard--anything to keep pushing snow). I will take a moment to point out that Alex is adequately protected against the cold weather, and can still sit down, feed himself and annoy the cats while bundled up.

I understand that those of you who live in nice, warm Southern states are experiencing cold (snicker!) weather also. You may proceed to make fun of me for living in Iowa in this post's comments.
